Sonos and Targetspot ink global sales partnership
Following the launch of Sonos Radio by Sonos in April, a free, ad-supported radio streaming service exclusively available for millions of Sonos customers globally, offering advertisers a new way to connect with listeners in the home, the company has now launched exclusive global sales partnership with Targetspot.
With home listenership having now peaked, Sonos Radio is offering an opportunity to reach an engaged in-home audience. Sonos Radio features more than 60,000 broadcast radio stations powered by streaming radio services as well as original programming from Sonos. Sonos Radio stations will include thoughtful audio and in-app advertising with a high share of voice for brand partners, as part of certain partner stations and through select curated original programming.
Sonos Radio was built for and inspired by Sonos customers, delivering original programming through Sonos Stations, including more than 30 curated genre stations most often enjoyed by customers. Sonos Stations are expertly curated by the Sonos team and leverag Super HiFi's digital music AI for volume leveling across songs and ads, song blending, and seamless mixing in voice commentary.
In more than 10 million homes with more than 29 million devices around the world, Sonos customers are streaming audio throughout their home, sharing with the others in their home. The demographic reach is broad and presents a unique opportunity for all brands and advertisers to share their message in a meaningful way. Targetspot will bring this audience to market both directly through its global sales force and programmatically.
